10 Cute Date Ideas In London That Aren’t Dinner Out
If you’re looking for unique date ideas in London that steer clear of the usual dinner plans, you’ve come to the right place. London is filled with exciting and creative activities that are perfect for couples. Moving here from Dublin (which is lovely too, of course), we obviously instantly loved the amount of options we have here. Here are ten fun and cute date options that we absolutely adored and think you will too!
1. Puppy Yoga
Puppy yoga is not just about striking poses! Actually, you don’t really have to do yoga! This experience tests your teamwork and possibly your future parenting skills. It’s also a great way to see if adopting a puppy together could be in your future. We really loved this experience—it was super cute and relaxing!

2. Kitty Yoga
Kitty yoga offers a more serene environment compared to puppy yoga. You don’t even need to be an avid yogi to enjoy it. It’s all about relaxing with cute cats in a calm setting. Spending time here made our day, and we felt we could stay much longer just enjoying the peaceful vibe with the kitties.
3. City Pet Farm Visit
Visiting a city pet farm, like the ones in Vauxhall or Mudchute, provides an outdoor date experience right in the heart of the city. It’s perfect for couples who love animals and prefer a bit more activity during their date. We thought this was a fantastic way to enjoy the outdoors without leaving London.
4. Pedal Boating in Hyde Park
Pedal boating in Hyde Park is always a hit. It combines light exercise with plenty of opportunities for conversation in a beautiful setting. We had such a good time enjoying the scenery and each other’s company—it’s a must-try for any couple.
5. Dinner Hopping
Instead of sticking to one restaurant, try dinner hopping. Start with appetizers at one place, then move on to the main course at another, and finish with dessert somewhere else. It’s a fun way to explore different eateries and enjoy a variety of dishes together.
6. Churros on Queen’s Walk
Enjoying churros while strolling along Queen’s Walk offers a sweet treat coupled with beautiful views of the Thames. there is a food truck selling them until really late at night. We just sat on the bench and looked at the view and the night lights while eating our delicious churros. It’s a simple, delightful way to spend time together and enjoy some of London’s iconic sights.
7. Theatre Night
Catch a live performance at one of London’s famed theatres. Whether it’s a dramatic play, a musical, or an experimental piece, the theatre is a great way to share an enriching cultural experience with your date.
8. Movie in Concert
Attending a movie in concert combines the thrill of live orchestra music with the enjoyment of film. We watched “The Holiday” in concert, and it was an incredible experience. The live score adds a magical touch to the movie, making it a unique date night.
9. Ride the London Eye At Sunset
Taking a ride on the London Eye offers spectacular views of the city. It’s especially romantic at sunset or in the evening when the city lights begin to sparkle. This iconic experience is a fantastic way to see London from a different perspective.
10. Indoor Roller Skating
Indoor roller skating is a playful and active date idea. It’s a chance to let loose, enjoy some music, and maybe even show off your skating skills. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, it’s all about having fun together.
