People Reveal Their Partner’s Most Disgusting Habits And You won’t Believe Them!
Being in a relationship is like embarking on an intimate journey of discovery. It’s not just about the candlelit dinners, shared laughter, and cozy movie nights. As you grow closer, you start to unveil the layers of your partner’s personality, including those not-so-glamorous habits that everyone has but seldom talks about.
From the seemingly innocent act of picking their nose when they think no one’s watching to the not-so-charming habit of leaving nail bits scattered around the house, these quirks become part of your daily life. Or should they?
The internet is brimming with stories from people who’ve encountered their share of surprising, sometimes disgusting habits in their relationships. Here are 6 of those habits, shared candidly by people from all walks of life, proving that love isn’t always pretty, but it’s real and raw, embracing the good, the bad, and the ugly (but still, work on those please).
1. Picking His Nose
“It doesn’t matter where we are or who we are with, he will openly just pick his nose and eat it. I’ve spoken to him many times, but he doesn’t care or want to stop” shared one forum user. Others responded with utter disgust saying “I couldn’t be with someone who picks their nose and eats it. That is utterly revolting”.
2. Flushing Leftovers In The Toilet
Another user share the following:
“Whenever we have leftover soup my husband dumps it in the toilet. He flushes it but it’s never really clean afterwards. It makes me so very mad. I’ve told him a million times that I find it disgusting (it looks like someone threw up!) but he doesn’t seem to find a problem with it. He argues it’s worse to do it in the sink (even when the strainer would catch all solid chunks).
One time his mother came to visit and she did the same thing with something like potatoes or salad
Please someone tell me I’m right!!!”
We’ll answer this one: Yes, you are right.
3. Putting Her Shoes On The Kitchen Counter
This time, a husband complained about his wife’s bad habit: “Wife comes from running and takes her sweaty socks and shoes off and puts them in the kitchen counter, dinner table, washes the mud off of her shoes in the kitchen sink, letโs them dry next to clean dishes โฆ..I am the cook in the house and it infuriates me but she does it again and again”
Other users confirmed this is a gross habit saying “That is revolting and horribly unsanitary. I would have a shit fit”.
4. Planting Her Fingernails
This one is a bit of an interesting habit. This user shared that his girlfriend picks her nails and leaves the pieces all around the house. See for yourself: “She rips her fingernails (hers are soft enough to tear, I need industrial strength nail clippers for mine!) and leaves them wherever. Sometimes on a table, sometimes in the bottom of her cup of tea once she’s finished it.”
5. Wasting Resources
Though the user recognized it wasn’t gross, it still disgusts her because of the waste her husband creates. She shared:
“Not disgusting but is an amber flag. We have a dishwasher but he insists on washing dish by dish. He will use a spoon for his coffee and wash that then separately wash his mug up then his plate for toast. He doesnโt understand he is wasting water this way. Iโve given up and let him get on with it.”
6. Brushing Teeth With Hot Water
Would you find this disgusting? This user shared two of his girlfriend’s habits he considers disgusting:
“Blowing her nose on tissues when she’s ill, and leaving them on the coffee table . Also brushing teeth with hot water”
Do you think washing your teeth with hot water is gross? Let us know!
