1. Visit The Book of Kells At Trinity College

Trinity College Dublin is home to the Book of Kells, one of Ireland’s most famous and precious artifacts. This beautifully illuminated manuscript contains the four Gospels of the New Testament and is a masterpiece of medieval art. A visit here offers you a chance to see this incredible work up close and to explore the historic campus of Ireland’s oldest university. We highly recommend booking in advance.

2. Visit Skellig Michael

Skellig Michael, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is an ancient monastic outpost perched atop a rocky island off the coast of Kerry. A trip here is like stepping back in time, with the preserved beehive huts and breathtaking views of the Atlantic. It’s a somewhat challenging climb but absolutely rewarding for the views and the serene atmosphere.

We’ve done that a couple of times and loved it! Driving the Ring of Kerry is a must for anyone visiting Ireland. This scenic route takes you through some of Kerry’s most stunning landscapes, including mountains, lakes, and beaches. The road winds past quaint villages and offers numerous spots for picturesque stops. It’s perfect for those who love a leisurely drive through captivating scenery.

4. Cliffs Of Moher and Dunluce Castle Trip

Imagine visiting two of Ireland’s most dramatic sites in one trip. The Cliffs of Moher, towering 214 meters above the Atlantic, offer striking views that are simply unforgettable. Ugh, this has got to be the cutest experience we’ve had in Ireland! For a lighter and more playful experience, consider walking an alpaca. Across Ireland, several farms offer the chance to walk and bond with these gentle creatures. It’s a fun, relaxing way to spend an afternoon, especially appreciated by animal lovers and families with children.

6. Galway

Galway, known as the “City of Tribes,” is famous for its vibrant lifestyle and cultural richness. We spent a whole week on the Dingle Peninsula and loved it! It’s often overlooked by visitors whereas it’s super worth a visit. At Cappagh Beach, you can enjoy the tranquil sea views in a scenery that looks like Reunion Island. Adding a horseback ride on Ventry Beach makes this visit even more magical, we love it!

8. See colorful houses in Kinsale

Kinsale is a charming seaside town known for its bright and colorful houses. The vibrant facades make this town a cheerful place to explore, with each turn offering a perfect photo opportunity. It’s also renowned for its gourmet cuisine, making it a fantastic stop for food enthusiasts.
