This is a lovely activity worth every penny! My partner and I were visiting York for a weekend away and had our itinerary packed with activities and this was by far our favourite! After moving through a busy city for two days a quiet cruise along the river was well needed. They play music quietly whilst you’re sailing and it really adds to the atmosphere. The staff are very polite and are there when you need them, lovely when engaged with but they leave you to your own devices which is great for quality time. Please note that if you’re thinking of a dress code there isn’t one, just show up but you are on water so it is quite breezy so bring a jacket! The route ensures you see the length of the river ooze and quite a bit of York. All in all we would highly recommend for any couple looking for some quality time or perhaps a first date if you’re looking for a more low-key activity. PS.
